Float Spa

A sensory deprivation tank, also known as a floatation tank or isolation tank, is used for REST. REST is restricted environmental stimulation therapy. The tank, which is filled with up to a foot of salt water, is dark and soundproof. Floating in a sensory deprivation tank may yield results such as: muscle relaxation, improved sleep, and decreased stress, anxiety, and pain. The water in the tank is heated to skin temperature, approximately 93 degrees fahrenheit. The water is highly concentrated with epsom salt, 25%-30% by weight, near the point of saturation.
